About me

I'm a neurodivergent counsellor, coach and trainer. I have worked with students who are neurodivergent, disabled and/or have long term health conditions for several years in universities across the North West. I have also worked for eating disorder charities and treatment centres and have specialist training in this area.

I take a humanistic, integrative approach to therapy and coaching. This means I value the relationship between us and see therapy as a collaboration. I love research and use this to inform the way I practice, and I also recognise every person is unique and deserves a personalised approach.

I have supported many neurodivergent adults who have felt lost, stuck or frustrated after experiencing therapy or coaching before that hasn’t felt like the right fit so I am mindful of adapting to suit the individual. I find such peace and relief in neurodiversity-affirming spaces and so I aim to offer a warm, flexible space where you can be validated and accepted for who you are. I appreciate that you might have specific needs and welcome discussions about how I can help meet these.

As well as therapy and coaching, I have designed and delivered training around eating disorders and mental health for charities, schools, colleges and universities. I also work part time as a psychological scientist in research.

In my free time, I can usually be found with my three horses. Horses became my special interest when I first sat on a pony at two years old. I’m passionate about ethical, compassionate animal training and husbandry. I also enjoy walking, and collecting anything quirky and colourful (including a multi-coloured highland cow and a steampunk dinosaur).
