About me

I am qualified in Integrative psychotherapy, which means that my training covered theory and practice from each of the main therapeutic schools (Psychodynamic, Existential, Person-Centred). Sessions are an opportunity for you to talk openly and honestly in a safe and accepting space. For me, it is essential to meet people where they are and so my work is different with each client, depending on their needs.

My work is based in a relational, Psychodynamic approach, which means exploring the way in which some relational patterns, rooted in your past experiences, can colour your present. The relationship you have with your self is an important part of this work. Fundamentally, I believe that it is the relationship that heals, rather than a specific technique or treatment solution.

My approach is informed by my own life experiences. I have a provisional diagnosis of autism and may also have ADHD. Before I recognized this in myself I have worked with neurodivergent clients. I have also worked with clients who are trans, as well as clients with chronic illness and acquired disability. When I’m not working I love all things water-related, playing and listening to music and being with my cat.
